THE MISTER SINGAPORE 2010 PAGEANT
TO BE HELD IN ZIRCA ON OCTOBER 8
(9-11 P.M.)

Singapore – July 5, 2010 - Alan Sim, President of the Mister Singapore Organization, announced today the MISTER SINGAPORE 2010 pageant will be held on Friday, October 8 (9-11 p.m.) in Zirca.

“Zirca has become our favorite and optimal host venue. They have been incredible host and we plan on showing our contestants exactly why we keep coming back,” said Sim. “Zirca is tailor made to host an event like MISTER SINGAPORE and it always makes for an exciting production. In 2009, more than 1,200 viewing audience came to see who would be crowned MISTER SINGAPORE and go on to compete at MISTER INTERNATIONAL.”

MISTER SINGAPORE 2009 Nelson Lee, who was crowned in Zirca, has spent his term traveling the region representing the Mister Singapore Organization and serving as an advocate for HIV/AIDS awareness. He also represented Singapore at MISTER INTERNATIONAL 2009 in Taiwan ROC and placed 6th overall against 30 countries. He will crown his successor at the conclusion of the 2-hour pageant, before an estimated viewing audience of 1,200. Each contestant from 20 estates around Singapore will be judged in three categories: swimwear, evening wear and interview. The show will conclude with one contestant ultimately being crowned MISTER SINGAPORE 2010.
