MISTER WOODLANDS SINGAPORE GABRIEL GOH CROWNED MISTER SINGAPORE 2007
DURING THE PAGEANT HELD AT BRADDELL HEIGHTS AUDITORIUM

Braddell Heights, May 25, 2007 - This evening, during one of the year's most exciting annual events, a star-studded panel of judges chose Mister Woodlands Singapore Gabriel Goh as MISTER SINGAPORE 2007.

The 26-year-old contestant from Woodlands won the judges’ votes at the conclusion of the 8th annual pageant that took place from Braddell Heights Multi-Purpose Auditorium. Gabriel is a mechanical engineer. He won over $ 65,000 in cash and prizes and will also go on to represent Singapore in the MISTER INTERNATIONAL 2007 pageant on December 31 in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.

MISTER SINGAPORE 2007 was chosen by a panel of celebrity judges which included: Founder and Director of NewUrbanMale.com Shenzi Chua, Miss Mongolia World 2006 Selenge Erdene Ochir, Lifestyle Editor Ricky Gallardo, Director of 77th Street and CEO/Master Trainer of SgFitness.com Chris Chew, Director of Carrie Models International Jane Liong, Renowned Photographer Cedric Lim, President of the ASEAN Handicraft Promotion and Development Association Galen Hogan, Miss Indonesia Tourism 2007 Albertina Franasisca Mailoa, Musical Producer Agnes Yue and Director and Lecturer Loretta Chen.

Throughout the two-hour event, the contestants competed in three categories: swimwear, evening wear and interview. During these competitions, the Top Five Finalists were selected before the crowning. MISTER SINGAPORE 2006 Dennis Lau crowned his successor at the conclusion of the pageant, before an estimated viewing audience of more than 600, followed by worldwide viewing audience via the Mister Singapore Organization Web site www.MisterSingapore.Org.

Final Results:

First Runner-up: Mister Bedok Singapore Ken Lim will assume the duties of MISTER SINGAPORE 2007 if the Titleholder is named MISTER INTERNATIONAL 2007 or for some reason cannot fulfill his duties.

Second Runner-up: Mister Bishan Singapore Jerry Pek

Third Runner-up: Mister Ang Mo Kio Singapore Mohammud Hairul Adha Abdul Rahim

Fourth Runner-up: Mister Punggol Singapore Adrian Lee

Rest of Top Ten: Mister Bukit Batok Singapore John Por, Mister Pasir Ris Singapore Magnus Ang, Mister Sengkang Singapore Adrian Lock, Mister Serangoon Singapore Adrian Foo and Mister Toa Payoh Singapore Lionel Lim.

• Jabs Waterboys Fashion Swimwear and Fitness Award: Mister Ang Mo Kio Singapore Mohammud Hairul Adha Abdul Rahim. This is presented to the winner of the Jabs Waterboys Swimwear and Fitness Competition.
• Mister Photogenic Singapore Award: Mister Woodlands Singapore Gabriel Goh. The general public voted on www.MisterSingapore.Org for the contestant who exemplifies handsomeness through the lens of a camera.
• Mister Congeniality Singapore Award: Mister Bukit Batok Singapore John Por. The award reflects the respect and admiration of the contestant’s peers, who voted for him as the most congenial, charismatic and inspirational contestant.
• Mister Spirit Singapore Award: Mister Tampines Singapore Haider Amir. This award is presented to the contestant selected for his outstanding qualities such as character, sportsmanship, achievement, personal growth, and a willingness to promote the positive aspects of competition.
• NewUrbanMale.com Ambassador Award: Mister Punggol Singapore Adrian Lee. This is presented to the contestant chosen as the ideal brand ambassador for NewUrbanMale.com.
• Thomas D'Esthetique Face Award: Mister Woodlands Singapore Gabriel Goh. This is presented to the contestant who best represents the image of Thomas D'Esthetique.
