MISTER VIETNAM NGO TIEN DOAN CROWNED MISTER INTERNATIONAL 2008
DURING THE PAGEANT HELD IN TAINAN, TAIWAN ROC

Tainan, Taiwan ROC - November 24, 2008 - This evening, during one of the year's most exciting annual events, an international panel of judges chose Mister Vietnam Ngo Tien Doan as MISTER INTERNATIONAL 2008 during the pageant held in Tainan, Taiwan ROC.

Ngo Tien Doan is a University lecturer and model who hopes to pursue a PhD. He enjoys swimming and drawing.

The panel of celebrity judges included: Wissam Hanna, MISTER INTERNATIONAL 2006; Ken Hong, Celebrity and International Award Winning Hairstylist; Xu Keng Siew, president of the Culture and Tourism Affairs Bureau, Tainan City Government; Lee Pao Tang, president of the Chinese Filmmaking Association; Lan Tian, chairman of the Chinese Culture Development Association and president of the World Chinese Artist Committee; Li Mei Li, skincare consultant and assistant chairman of Complete Beauty Institute; Xie Shang Ting, president of the ABC Dental Group and Wei Zhi Ming, director of Paris International.

Throughout the two-hour event, the contestants competed in three categories: swimwear, evening wear and interview. MISTER INTERNATIONAL 2007 Alan Bianco Martini Malgioglio crowned his successor at the conclusion of the two-hour pageant.

Final Results:

First Runner-up: Mister Lebanon Mohamad Chamseddine will assume the duties of MISTER INTERNATIONAL 2008 if the Titleholder for some reason cannot fulfill his responsibilities.

Second Runner-up: Mister China Zhang Lun Shuo

Third Runner-up: Mister Croatia Mihovil Barun

Fourth Runner-up: Mister Netherlands Vincent Cleuren

Rest of Top Ten: Mister Belgium Koen Van De Voorde, Mister Brazil Marciel Moreno Mendes, Mister Greece Dimitris Tsilis, Mister Philippines Jeff Surio and Mister Venezuela Marco Antonio Chinea Franco.

Rest of Top Fifteen: Mister India Vikas Mehandroo, Mister Indonesia Rocky Pramatra, Mister Singapore Ken Lim, Mister Taiwan, ROC Li Chi Hsiang and Mister USA Ivan Rusilko.

SportsmenAsia Swimwear and Fitness Award: Mister Vietnam Ngo Tien Doan. This is presented to the winner of the SportsmenAsia Swimwear and Fitness Competition.

Mister Photogenic International Award: Mister Taiwan ROC Li Chi Hsiang. Voted on and selected by the press photographers, this is awarded to the contestant who exemplifies great looks through the lens of a camera.

Mister Congeniality International Award: Mister Croatia Mihovil Barun. The award reflects the respect and admiration of the contestant’s peers, who voted for him as the most congenial, charismatic and inspirational contestant.

Mister Spirit International Award: Mister Nigeria Edgar Chidiebere Chima Ononuju. This award is presented to the contestant selected for his outstanding qualities such as character, sportsmanship, achievement, personal growth, and a willingness to promote the positive aspects of competition.
 
National Costume Award: Mister Taiwan ROC Li Chi Hsiang. This award is presented to the contestant who displayed his country’s pride and spirit best in costume.

National Director Award: Rafael Robert Delfin of the United States. This award is presented to the national director selected for his outstanding leadership qualities, and a willingness to promote the pageant in his/her country.
