SINGAPORE TO HOST THE FIRST ANNUAL MISTER INTERNATIONAL PAGEANT

Singapore, August 22, 2006 – The Mister Singapore Organization is proud to announce that Singapore will host the first annual MISTER INTERNATIONAL pageant. The extravagant show will take place from The Pavilion on Saturday, October 7 at 8 p.m.. The Presentation Show will be held on October 5 at 8 p.m..

"We are excited to establish our inaugural international pageant in Singapore," said Alan Sim, President of the Mister Singapore Organization. "Singapore provides not only a fantastic setting for the 9-day event, it is a dynamic city rich in contrast and color that offers a harmonious blend of culture, cuisine, arts and architecture. I can think of no better place to showcase this brand new exciting and historical event than my home country! It is time to show all of our international contestants, along with their families and friends, one of the greatest cities in the world: Singapore."

"The Pavilion is the perfect place for the MISTER INTERNATIONAL 2006 pageant," said Sim. "We spent the last two years staging our MISTER SINGAPORE pageant there and our decision to have the MISTER INTERNATIONAL 2006 pageant at The Pavilion was unanimous between our staff and the production staff." Sim further added, "The host committee and staff were professional, quick and eager to assist us and with the ideal infrastructure, and sound and lighting system, it makes our production very easy. We look forward to another great partnership between the Mister Singapore Organization and De Dynasty."

Some 30 of the world's most good looking men will compete for the title, as well as a prize package of at least $ 50,000 in value, during the two-hour pageant, before an estimated viewing audience of more than 500, followed by worldwide viewing audience via www.MisterSingapore.Org, the Mister Singapore Organization Web site. The contestants will be judged in three categories: swimwear, evening wear and interview.

Along with the Mister Singapore Organization, One Men Show will again co-produce MISTER SINGAPORE 2006 with Men at the helm.
