MALAYSIA TO HOST THE MISTER INTERNATIONAL 2007 PAGEANT
TO BE HELD ON DECEMBER 31
Singapore, August 1, 2007 – Alan Sim, President of the Mister Singapore Organization, announced today that Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia will host the MISTER INTERNATIONAL 2007 pageant. The premier male pageant, featuring some of the world's most good looking men, will take place on Monday, December 31, 2007 from 8 - 10 p.m..
“We felt that during our first trip to Kuching last March, we had found our home for the next MISTER INTERNATIONAL pageant,” said Sim. “The officials we met with in Kuching showed great enthusiasm at the prospect of hosting the two-week event, along with its contestants and their families and friends. We are honored and look forward to the privilege of working with our neighbor and to bring its tourism industry to greater heights. The city of Kuching offers an abundant supply of breathtaking locations and the warmth of the Malaysian people will resonate throughout the world as we showcase the country."
Lebanese native, Wissam Hanna, MISTER INTERNATIONAL 2006 will crown his successor at the conclusion of the pageant. During his term, he has traveled and appeared on the media extensively to speak about his role as the Titleholder. The newly crowned MISTER INTERNATIONAL will also go on to do the same. He will also travel the world on behalf of the Mister Singapore Organization.
Each contestant from more than 3 countries around the world will be judged in three categories: swimwear, evening wear and interview as they vie for the coveted title of MISTER INTERNATIONAL 2007.
MISTER INTERNATIONAL 2007 is being hosted by Alaric’s Productions Company, one of the most prominent event companies in Malaysia. We wish to thank Mr. Alaric Soh and his team for their tireless efforts in helping bring the pageant to Kuching.
