TAIWAN ROC TO HOST THE MISTER INTERNATIONAL 2008 PAGEANT TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 24

Singapore, April 29, 2008 - Alan Sim, President of the Mister Singapore Organization, announced today that Taiwan ROC will host the MISTER INTERNATIONAL 2008 pageant. The premier male pageant, featuring some of the world's most handsome men, will take place in Tainan on Monday, November 24, 2008 from 8 - 10 p.m..

"Taiwan ROC has shown unprecedented growth in recent years, both in the business and tourism sectors," said Sim. "The MISTER INTERNATIONAL pageant will mark the first event of its kind to be held in Taiwan ROC. I am very happy to have the MISTER INTERNATIONAL pageant be the channel for such an historic event."

"We believe that the beauty, culture and hospitality of Taiwan ROC will perfectly complement the pageant," added Sim. "We look forward to showing the contestants and the world this exciting, vibrant and picturesque country."

Brazilian native, Alan Bianco Martini Malgioglio, MISTER INTERNATIONAL 2007 will crown his successor at the conclusion of the pageant. During his term, he travels and appears on the media extensively to speak about his role as the Titleholder. The newly crowned MISTER INTERNATIONAL will also go on to do the same. He will also travel the world on behalf of the Mister Singapore Organization.

Each contestant from more than 30 countries around the world will be judged in three categories: swimwear, evening wear and interview as they vie for the coveted title of MISTER INTERNATIONAL 2008.
