Very few pageants in Singapore attract international media attention, let alone national press and media coverage. The Mister Singapore Organization, now in its 11th year, is an exception. Stronger than ever, its international reach and impact are setting standards for the future.

The Mister Singapore Organization is a wholly-owned company of Alan Sim, MISTER YOUNG SINGAPORE 1996 and First Runner-up to MISTER YOUNG INTERNATIONAL 1997.

The focus of the two pageants is to produce "big-event" entertainment. The cutting-edge productions better represent the men who are part of them. Productions add topical and important segments that reflect the mission of the overall pageants and of the contestants themselves.
The personal bests the men seek to achieve by cultivating their passions, humor, education and more will both honor the popular traditions of the Mister Singapore Organization and define contemporary men.
Worldwide Resources
The Mister Singapore Organization is headquartered in Singapore and with representatives worldwide. It is staffed by experts in fields ranging from marketing and show production to licensing and fitness, providing a range of services for men.
WHEN:
MISTER SINGAPORE is always the first pageant of the year and is generally held in May or June. MISTER INTERNATIONAL follows in October or November.

The current Titleholders are:
MISTER SINGAPORE – Nelson Lee, 22, of Bishan
MISTER INTERNATIONAL – Bruno Kettels, 20, of Bolivia
For MISTER SINGAPORE, 20 contestants are selected to compete in the pageant. In the case of MISTER INTERNATIONAL, between 40 and 50 countries send a contestant to compete.
The Contestants
MISTER SINGAPORE and MISTER INTERNATIONAL contestants must be at least 18 years old and under 30 (by January 1 in the year they participate in the national pageant).
HOW:
For MISTER SINGAPORE, the contestants are selected through auditions, which are produced by the Mister Singapore Organization to compete in the pageant. MISTER INTERNATIONAL contestants must win their respective national titles in their countries to compete in the pageant. In the case of Singapore, MISTER SINGAPORE goes on to represent Singapore at MISTER INTERNATIONAL.
An Unbelievable Year Ahead
The Titleholders then embark on a year unlike anything else, receiving cash, exciting prizes and services, as well as:
- Part of each Titleholder's prize package is an employment contract with the Mister Singapore Organization.
- The Titleholder becomes a representative of the company for one year, traveling the world, meeting notable and accomplished people, participating in official charity and social events, appearing on television, having interviews with the press, speaking on a variety of topics, and getting the education, experiences and values to fulfill his career goals.
- The Titleholders are represented by a top modeling agency during their term.
